| About the author: | FROM THE AUTHOR'S SITE: Mark Laurence McIlroy is the principal of Melbourne Paraplanning Services Pty Ltd, a business which supplies Paraplanning services to Australian Financial Planning practices. Mark has been working as a Paraplanner in the Melbourne CBD since January 2015. He also has a long experience in the Financial Services industry in roles including Portfolio Manager (Quantitative), managing quantitative Australian Equity portfolios for a major bank. Mark has previous experience in IT development roles in the Financial Services industry. Mark’s qualifications include Masters degrees in Applied Finance and Financial Planning, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
